Coaxial 32x32 Matrix
The Model 10693 is a “Blocking” type matrix. That is, when more than one
output is connected to an input the input will be loaded accordingly. The
unit is not signal format sensitive therefore a wide range of signals types
may be switched through the matrix via the rear panel BNC connectors.
Reliability is increased because of multiple possible alternate signal
paths for each I/O connection, and lower number of switches inherent in
the 3-stage design.
Sophisticated features and capabilities complement the user friendly front
panel controls and RS-232C interface. The embedded intelligent controller
quickly handles the complex algorithms required to control the 3-stage
matrix array. Only simple input and output combinations are needed to program
the 10693. Other features include crosspoint verification, an “Active”
LED next to each BNC connector, and the ability to store up to 99 configurations.
Every major assembly is easily removable with no tools required for quick
and easy repair.
