Model 13098 is comprised of 16 input stage cards, 15 center stage cards and 16 output stage cards.
This three stage design concept reduces the number of crosspoints to less than half that required by a standard square matrix.
The three stage design also allows alternate signal routes to be taken in case of crosspoint failure.
In addition, this compact size of the 3 stage design reduces stub length which increases the systems bandwidth.
The autorouting feature automatically selects the signal path through the three stages.
The unit features redundant hot swapable power modules and dual AC line inputs.
Both supplies and/or both lines must fail to down the system. |
