    • Relay Driver Cards
    Each relay module installed in this chassis requires a series 116XX relay driver card. This card provides switchpoint latching and drive current to the relay coils and a LED display showing the open/closed status of each switch point. To assign the part number to this driver card replace XX with the number of throws in the relay to be driven.

    Relay Control Chassis
    The Model 11600 universal chassis incorporates a comprehensive list of standard features to meet even the most demanding system needs. Designed to mount a variety of switching modules, the 11600 has standard IEEE-488 and RS-232C control ports for user programming, plus front panel backlit LCD display and control keypad.

    A maximum of 24 relay modules may be installed for control and status of up to a 24x24 relay matrix, or 576 crosspoints. For larger system configurations, control expansion ports feature duplex fiberoptic interface.

    Relay status monitoring is built-in and is available to the remote interfaces, front panel liquid crystal display shows system status and individual LED displays on the 116XX relay control cards are visible through slots in the top cover which show which switchpoints are set. The unit is enclosed with exception of open rear access for signal cable routing to the relay modules. The bottom of the chassis assembly is punched to accept the mounting


      of most Matrix Systems relay module products. Optional rear connector panels are available. Contact the factory.

      Model 11600 can be specified with dual AC power input connectors and dual DC power supplies. Both power lines and/or both power supplies must fail to “Down” the system. Both visual and control bus voltage status is standard. Specify Model 12355.
