6800C Series
The 6800C series switching systems are versatile general purpose units
with optional redundent power supplies, which may be configured into
various special arrays as well as those scanners
and matrices listed below.
Visual status of the switch configuration is displayed by LED indicators
behind the red Lucite front panel.
Relay Cards
The panel is hinged to allow access to up to twenty Model 4204 dry contact
or twenty Model 4204-HG mercury wetted relay cards. Each card is a dual
five throw-two pole configuration. The two types can be mingled.
A Selector switch located behind the panel allows the operator to select
the Local address of the switching system. Up to ten systems may be selectively
addressed by the control interfaces. This allows system expansion in both
axis.
Example: a 40x20x2 matrix is configured by stacking four 10x20x2 units
or a 40x40x2 is configured by interconnecting eight units. Four 1x200x2
scanners configure a 1x800x2 scanner.
