System SLM24W(i) is a compact 2RU wideband matrix unit designed for high-performance, cost effective and reliable signal routing. Factory configured with a maximum of 48 I/O ports, a typical configuration is a symmetrical 24x24. It can also be ordered with asymmetric configurations as well such as a 16x32, or smaller reduced configurations like 8x8. It's designed to replace and automate a set of multi-coupler and manual patch cord bays or switches.

The unit is available in a distributive Fan-OUT version (SLM24W) or a combining Fan-IN version (SLM24Wi). Each input has individual programmable input gain control with +/-30dB of gain in 1/2dB steps.

NOTE: Although it is available in standard configurations, the internal construction makes it simple to make factory builds for custom or special requirements. Our technical staff can help configure the exact system to meet your specific application. Contact the factory.

    • Applications

    Detailed Description

    Sometimes eliminating multi-couplers, manual patch bays and patch cords, the System SLM24W(i) is a solid-state switch array specifically designed for routing and distributing wideband signals. Factory configured, the unit typically provides a symmetrical switch configuration up to 24 input ports and 24 output ports (48 ports total). It can also be ordered in reduced configurations, or asymmetrical as well (such as an 8x8, 16x32 or 32x8).

    It's also available as a distributive "Fan-OUT" type of unit (SLM24W), or as a combining "Fan-IN" version (SLM24Wi). The standard configuration includes individual programmable input gain control up to +/-30dB in 1/2dB steps. Many other options are available as your requirement demands. .

    The 2RU rack mount unit is available standard with 50 ohm impedance, and SMA or BNC signal connectors. All signal I/O connections are located at the rear panel. Designed for remote control, the built-in web browser interface and front panel touchscreen provides simple and trouble free operation.

    The unit has monitored built-in redundant hot-swap power supplies and features international AC power input (DC power input optional). As a bonus value, each unit comes with one user license of RouteWarePRO control software.
